The prostate is a zinc-secreting gland. When the secreting tubules (“acini”) are healthy or benignly-enlarged, they secrete zinc; when they transform into cancerous and precancerous cells, they stop secreting zinc.

Our Zinc Testing Kit has been developed to provide reliable results through measurement of free zinc concentration in ejaculatory fluid. Our zinc test has already beaten the PSA and the
“PSA –doubling time” measures in a small-scale study of prostate cancer prediction.

Perhaps the most clinically important aspect of the Andro
Diagnostics zinc test is that the zinc level DOES NOT go down
in benign prostate enlargement but DOES go down in true
cancer. For the first time, urologists will be able to easily
discriminate between BPH and prostate cancer without a biopsy.
